The M.Ch. Orthopedics certification is recognition of having undertaken a stipulated course of study following post-graduation in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery. This is a non-registrable qualification and does not in itself confer any rights or privileges to undertake surgical, operative or other clinical work beyond the scope, knowledge or skills acquired by the candidate during the stipulated course of post-graduate study. Candidates are admitted to this course with an undertaking that eligibility criteria for selection itself include a license to practice orthopedic medicine and/or surgery on the basis of the candidates basic medical degree and a recognized post-graduate degree/diploma in the said specialty
